About CARHC

The California Association of Rural Health Clinics (CARHC) is an association of Rural Health Clinics (RHCs) in California. California RHCs provide millions of health care visits to hundreds of thousands of California residents in medically underserved rural communities each year. CARHC improves the care of these patients through education and outreach to and support of their RHCs.

The Association improves communication among RHCs and other community providers and between RHCs and various California state agencies. We share resources and best practices among our members in order to provide high quality care to our patients. Specific activities include, but are not limited to: community education, provider education, information dissemination, support in the interpretation and implementation of regulations, and interface with government agencies.
